“Another triumph for the school of Potter diplomacy,” Severus commented.
“What! I did my best. I didn’t think Molly would take it that badly,” Harry replied.
Severus snorted, “You might as well have said, ‘Sorry, Molly, we’ve got a better offer.’”
“I was much more polite than that.” Severus merely raised his eyebrows. “And I’d like to see you do better; Narcissa has invited us to dinner the same day.”
“Watch and learn,” Severus said.
After a very heated floo conversation, Harry said, “That was indeed a triumph, one where you were paraded in chains by the victorious General Narcissa.”
