Summary: Harry rushes in to find Severus covered in a red sticky liquid

 

“Severus, oh Salazar, what happened?” Harry shouted.  Hearing a loud bang he had rushed inside to find Severus covered in sticky red liquid.

Severus didn’t seem too worried, merely a little put out.

“I thought I’d spice up my new tomato soup recipe.  However, something didn’t react quite as I expected,” Severus replied.  He ran a finger down his sleeve and licked it.  “It tastes quite good though.  I just need to get it to stay in the saucepan.”

Harry breathed deeply.  “What you need is to have a wash.  It upsets me seeing red liquid dripping down your face.”

Harry feared the worst - and then wasn't impressed Severus didn't appreciate the shock he'd given him. I'm sure he will make it up to him (and not just with tomato soup!)
