“Giving up already?” Severus asked.

Harry was sitting on the floor, staring intently at a spot in the middle of the far wall. “What? Did you say something?”

“I asked if you were giving up on your search.”

“Oh no, I thought I’d try a different tactic.”

“Which is?”

“I’ll tell you once you’re dressed.”

Severus started to get dressed, then stopped. “Where are my trousers?”

“You’re going to have to search for them. I discovered although I couldn’t cause them to come to me, I could hide them from you.”

“Just you wait, Potter,” Severus muttered.

“Oh, I will!”
